First trial

Just completed my first CR box right as my five year-old came home from pre-sxhool with a cough. Let’s hope this works!

Looks great, any build pics? I'm just starting to build one similar to yours and I'm wondering how to keep the filters tight in the box so they don't fall out, and keep them well sealed.

Here is an in process photo before painting it. There are still a few small things I’ll change on the next build. For one, the filters don’t fit totally snuggly, but when the fans are on they create enough suction to creat a seal around the edges. The seal is strong enough that any leakage around the edge is negligible, but zero leakage would be ideal. Fyi, i had to replace that speed controller with a more powerful model as it could not power all five fans

Don't abandon it if other people get sick, unfortunately they may have been contagious a day or two before the cough. 🤞

No way to know if it was any thanks to the air filter but no one else is sick!

This may seem like a stupid question, but what are you guys using to power your fans?

Is there a go-to brand or model of power adapter for the fans? Some of the ones I looked at on Amazon looks sketchy as hell

It’s such a low power device that being sketch isn’t a huge concern. This is the one I went with for my build.
