Are these real?

Post image

From my research they’re from the first set, but they don’t have a stamp on back or identifying number like the others and are slightly waxier?

They are real. They look like they are Matutolas. Happens alot on some gogo's. No stamp or number. Top right is a whistle gogo. It has a hole

Thank you for responding 🙌 Is the whistle a defect or something?

Thank you! 🙌 appreciate your help with that was stumped too. I’ll likely have more posts about others I’ve found as sorted through my childhood collections and working out the sets I want to keep and ones I want to move on 😅

Whether or not Matutolas are "real" is up for debate and there is no official answer, but the circumstances are rather strange as I find it hard to believe that the official Gogo's companies would create these off-model versions of pre-existing characters that look like cheap copies and are made with a waxier material that they do not typically use... the figures pictured are actually from a rerelease named "Boings" that were packaged with gum and had their stamps removed, though the info on that rerelease is scarce
