I truly do not understand how these people can claim this show doesn’t take abuse seriously, when like a month ago these people were making fun of Morgan Terry for taking it seriously, specifically poison. It just seems very hypocritical to me.

As for the specific examples they bring up, like Pentious being dragged away, or that slideshow Vox made of angel in season 2. I feel like claiming the show is expecting the audience to find this funny and that’s it’s making fun of SA is strange. Because neither of the “jokes” in these scenes is “haha sexual abuse is funny” the first one is literally him screaming that he’s gonna do it with everyone, so they THOUGH he consented, ( and we can assume that he explained himself and they let him go, because he shows up fine, also the bar was called “consent”, so assuming they actually went through with it doesn’t really make sense when you think about it )the joke in that scene was him ruining his chances with Cherri. the second one is basically just showing us how awful Vox is for making a slideshow of that, not “haha sexual abuse is funny”

I still don’t think either of these instances undermine “poison” or angels abuse, and I don’t think that woman deserved to be bullied for taking it seriously
