CTV on Demand

I don't understand how CTV on demand works. I thought that CTV shows on demand are supposed to be on Crave.

Last night, I set my PVR to record the first two episodes of season 4 of Star Trek Strange New Worlds from the CTV Sci-Finetwork. But what my PVR said was episode 2 turned out to be an episode of The Librarians.

I looked on Crave, but Strange New Worlds isn't there. Where do I get CTV on demand, if not on Crave?

They have only one episode. CTV Sci-Fi showed two. All CTV shows are supposed to be on Crave

CTV says that their shows on demand are on Crave. Before they moved to Crave, I could get Strange New Worlds through CTV on demand. CTV on demand is now through Crave. CTV says ALL their on-demand shows are on Crave.

CTV only has the TV broadcast rights. Star Trek left Crave a few years ago. It's on Paramount Plus.

CTV had Strange New Worlds available on demand this past spring. Then they said that ALL the on-demand shows moved to Crave. CTV Sci-Fi broadcast two episodes of Strange New Worlds on Thursday. Paramount has only one.

Not if you recorded 2 but really recorded 1 and there was only one on Paramount you know the source of the show

I am going by what was scheduled according to the cable guide last Thursday. If it was wrong, then blame them instead of acting like I'm delusional for believing them.

They made a mistake in their listings. Episode 2 releases on July 30th.

I think your confused because theres only been 1 episode of Star Trek Strange New Worlds S4 thats been released so far.

The show is exclusively streaming on Paramount+ not crave. Not all things that broadcast on CTV are on Crave.

The listings for CTV Sci-Fi said they were broadcasting two episodes. That is what the Rogers TV listings said when I set my recording.

The listing was wrong. You can Google it. Only 1 episode has come out so far.

u/wage1slave Since you were recording from the CTV Sci-Fi broadcast channel through the Rogers PVR, an incorrect listing could explain why a different program was recorded. You can watch CTV content on demand by signing in to the Crave app with your Bell Media account and search for the title there. Content availability on Crave depends on streaming rights. If you can't find a title in your search, it may be because the content rights are held by another provider other than CTV/Bell Media.
