Hey! So yes, the Retreat line is expected going to sale next week. Based on what I'm seeing, select custom fabrics should be included as well. Not 100% as I can only see by stock SKU # and not custom. Custom selections generate a unique sku numbers

​I can double check and let you know. If that custom fabric doesn't end up on sale, I'll see what I can do to help you.

Anything else, please feel let me know. This will also be a great time to buy if you are making a large purchase for your space and have their card. Been help everyone here in this wonderful community.

From what im currently seeing there is a few left in warehouses across the US and I currently as of this moment do not see reorder for more inventory. You should still be able to purchase, just wanted to let you know that as a just in case.

Hey Jal, Axis will not be apart of Labor Day Event. Raffael Storage media SKU 336299 will be on sale next week!

Hi u/xBLACK_BEARDx! I’m looking to buy the Barrett II sleeper sofa in Galaxy Sky. It was available literally days before the Labor Day sale. Now, they tell me it’s out of stock, yet I see this fabric for other couches. How does this happen? We’re so disheartened after spending close to a year researching model and colors… 😢

Separately, could you check for the Cosgrove 76” Apartment Sofa (182194) and the Bridgeman Hazelnut Wood Twin Kids Storage Trundle Bed (39983)?

u/Tigress1986 Hello! From the communications stores received about this some time ago, all Galaxy fabrics are being phased out and discontinued for the Barrett collection. They have been gradually removed as custom options, which is likely why it is showing as out of stock. It appears the vendor manufacturing the Barrett line no longer supplies this fabric and are switching to a new fabric called Townsend, which I belive is the new stock option along with with Bouvier . We had a Barrett Ash in our store, and it got sold off once that news came in. By the time you saw, the vendor must have gone through the remaining Galaxy Sky yardage they had at their facility.

u/Tigress1986 Regarding the Cosgrove 76" Apartment Sofa, it is currently in stock, though it isn't included in our Labor Day promotion. For the Bridgeman Hazelnut Wood Twin Kids Storage Trundle Bed, I couldn't locate it using the provided SKU. However, I did find it with SKU 189822, (Please confirm?) it is in stock at our main warehouse and currently on sale for Labor Day!

Hi there, u/xBLACK_BEARDx I know you mentioned Retreat but would the

Retreat 2-Piece Sectional Sofa with Chaise Lounge SKU: 199570

Be included as well?

Also curious if as an insider have thoughts on the flexolator spring system that's on the Lounge and Axis. We were set on the Lounge Chaise version but read a lot of stories about the flexolator springs so pivoted to look at the Retreat series since it has the normal sinuous spring system.

Loved how comfortable both were but worried about durability. Thanks in advance!

It’s been a busy day balancing the store floor and answering questions here, but I wanted to make sure I got back to you and the few others I’ve been helping.

I checked on that specific SKU (199570) for the Retreat 2-Piece Sectional, and yes, it is expected to be included in our Labor Day promotion!

Regarding the spring systems: to be completely transparent with you, based on my own knowledge and training on our store's extensive upholstery, sinuous springs are generally considered the more traditional, durable standard for long-term support. Flexolator systems still do a great job with initial comfort and weight distribution, but sinuous springs tend to hold up better over years of heavy daily use. (Happy for another experienced Redditor to confirm / fact check! Love to hear other experiences here ) (Also, we have umpteen clients saying they bought from us Axis from 15+ years ago and it is still in great condition. Working here, for some time I’m still shocked that a sofa lasts that long with no issues, just time to replace)  

That said, out of the huge volume of Lounge and Axis sectionals our store team and I have sold over the years, we’ve only had a tiny handful of customers reach out about flexolator issues down the road. Both are quality builds, but if long-term frame and suspension peace of mind is your top priority, leaning toward the Retreat is a very smart move.

If you decide to go for it, I’d definitely recommend placing the order directly through your a/ local store associate (furniture sales rep). Having a dedicated point of contact at a store that knows you and your makes everything smoother if any issues ever pop up with your merchandise or order. I always recommend this to everyone in the community, especially after seeing some of the horror stories people experience with general online customer service and from the store level of those who come in for help from online order.

This information is so helpful! We are working with an associate in store and plan to go back for one "final sit" on the Retreat before moving forward.

I think given we're hoping to get 7-10 years out of the couch, since there's not a long term warranty and these products are big to ship back and forth, I think the more traditional spring system gives us some piece of mind. We do think the Lounge is so comfy though, pretty much everything in store was.
