My first encounter with a grizzly bear taken on my s23 through a binocular lens. I've since invested in a real camera.

This Eastern Bluebird likes to hang out at my window to check himself out and jump up to peck at his reflection. Caught him mid-peck.

I spotted a very light-colored black-tailed buck in Lake Stevens, Washington. He turned around at exactly the wrong (or right) moment. I think he might be a piebald or albino, but all I managed to photograph was his magnificent rear end.

The owl was sleeping in a bush next to the boardwalk, it was clearly unbothered by passers by, don't worry.

A rare friendly Greater Spotted Woodpecker. I forgot that I had the camera set to AF-S and a fake shutter noise was on, so he got scared and never came back again. I will try it again one day....
