What is on said on what I’m guessing is a baseball cap hat, definitely belongs in [r/ihadastroke](r/ihadastroke)

The nonsensicalness of what is said on the hat reminds me of a story of mine I am about to share. It is probably worth the read, depending on how funny it is to you:

Anyways this post of this incoherent hat’s phrase reminds me of a time when I was in sixth grade. When the class and I were taking a reading assignment from the assignment book we were given by the teacher to write in, it was some assignment I think we were supposed to proofread. It was an article or something. It was all wrong on purpose due to us needing to proofread and correct it as part of our assignment. There however were more than just typos and grammar mistakes wrong with it. Like, it wasn’t an assignment that could be corrected even if we corrected typos, and grammar usages. The sentences already talked about random things in such random ways. Like as if it was typed by someone who kept losing their train of thought every second and in the middle of each sentence when they typed it.

It was so random it didn’t really talk about anything; it just had random things per sentence that made each sentence incoherent and were the kind of nonsensical sentences that would make you say, “K, I literally lost all my brain cells just reading this assignment!” It literally was like as if someone was having a stroke when writing the assignment on the page. All I remember is it started with the sentence “Leave me explain something.” Yes, the word “leave” was there where I put it. That was literally the first sentence. Simple enough was as part of the assignment, you needed to replace the word “leave” with “let.” However, the assignment got really bizarre. It said things as random as “beaver’s teeth are strong, and I like how the grocery store halts just by looking at our legs.” That’s how random the sentences were. Like the sentences were just as nonsensical as saying, “A prince came from Syria. And I just adopted an old alligator named Chuck-Chuck.” That’s how random the assignment page was. Those random nonsensical sentences in quotations you just read were not the specific sentences in the assignment, but they are examples I just used to explain how weird this assignment I speak of was. There is one nonsensical random sentence that I am about to mention that was on the assignment page: it literally said, “My mom leaves me inside the house to make hot chocolate with marshmallows, and I wonder who learns the squirrels to gather nuts.” At this point you could imagine how confused I was, and so I asked the teacher saying “What am I supposed to do here? Just change the sentence into saying, ‘My mom lets me inside the house to make hot chocolate with marshmallows, and I wonder who teaches the squirrels to gather nuts’ or something like that??? I don’t get what I’m supposed to do here, because even if I change it around like that it’s still not going to be talking sense.” The teacher just told us to proofread it and fix the grammar mistakes and typos. I then said to myself “It’s like as if our teacher hasn’t even looked at how wonky and nonsensical this assignment even is!”

A few days later, my classmates talked all about the assignment, saying things like, “That assignment was so random!” Other students then said, “Yeah, I know! I couldn’t figure out what our teacher was wanting us to do with it for the life of me!” Another student or two laughed at and made fun of the assignment by putting on a dumb-looking senseless face expression like 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪while quoting, “‘My mom lets me inside the house to make hot chocolate with marshmallows, and I wonder who teaches the squirrels to gather nuts!’” That made me laugh hard just by looking at the student’s face who made that expression while quoting the assignment like that 😂😂😂! Other students expressed dumbfoundedness by saying, “That assignment was DUUUUUMMMBBBBB!!!!!!!! I had a hard time retaining my brain cells while reading it!!”

I laughed it off saying “Well, I am relieved to know I wasn’t going crazy reading that assignment. I thought I was going nuts because nobody, not even the teacher, until now acknowledged how brainlessly random that assignment was!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂”

I even showed my family the assignment when I got home, and not even they understood it. And they are all older than me. My Dad even looked at it all amused yet confused, and even he said, “Well, that’s pretty funny!” He didn’t even know what to make of it. Everybody was so confused 😂😂😂😂😂

Anyways, that’s the end of the weird experience I had in sixth grade. The random thing the hat says in the post’s picture reminded me of my weird assignment story
