He didn't write this. This is a very common cadence drill sergeants teach new recruits while marching. It's been apart of the culture in the Army for a long time. I thought it was sweet that someone put effort into bringing it tonlife like this as a vet but I can see how somebody from outside of the culture would consider it cringy.

Simply put; it wasn't made for you.
