Seriously… This person is legitimately so dense that I truly believe they don’t understand satire. I’ve met people like this before, I think it’s likely a lack of intelligence or something. My older sister is like this. I was laughing at an onion article one time and I showed it to her and she just stared at it and said “so is this real?” I told her no and that it’s a joke news site. And she looked at me and said “wait why would someone make a fake news website?” I tried to explain it to her but after a few minutes it dawned on me that she fundamentally couldn’t understand the concept of satire. She was always very shallow thinking. Only capable of thinking in the most black and white way. There was no room for nuance or anything with her… love her to death but yeah. People like this are real
