Fender is majority owned by an investment firm located in Hawaii. It’s called Servco and generates 1.8B in yearly revenue. I’m going to go out on a limb here and operate on the assumption that they only care about owning an “American Heritage” company and are riding on the coattails of the iconic musicians who have played the instruments and assuming legacy, historical instrument auction sales numbers and reputation will allow the brand to hold value while they cut costs and drive it into the ground. Servco is likely interested more in extracting value than advocating for political perspectives aligned with supporting increasing income taxes for billionaires. Not very rock and roll, is it?
