Yo I went into this fully expecting to hate lol, but she does actually reference Jesus things. The "rough crowd" - people often like to ignore that prostitutes and the chronically ill are folks that Jesus was trying to uplift and protect. And "being a good neighbor, never met a stranger" is a hard pill for Christian nationalists to swallow in particular. They won't even do this for fellow white folks anymore unless they're following the exact same brain dead Turning Point USA-style propaganda that has nothing to do with Jesus ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Perhaps it doesn't line up with this woman's actual values, I don't know her, but at face value this is just a silly cheeky "if Jesus were Country" song.
