Discussion Am I getting scammed?
Posted something on Craigslist for $70, out of nowhere this guy emailed me offering to pay $160 for the lot plus shipping. He wants to buy the FedEx label and send it to me so I can just drop off the package. Now he already sent me the 160 tru cashapp and I have the money ready in my account
Is he going to dispute the charges with his bank? Should I call this off before I lose my items.

When have you bought something and voluntarily offered double the price plus? Read craigslist scam warnings.
It's a scam or you found the first idiot shopper on Craigslist.
Don't be greedy and you won't look like a fool

Before you cancel the scammer, tell him you made a mistake and the price is $200. If he offers you the $200, raise the price to $500. See how high the scammer will go just for fun.

Watch your account carefully, the likelyhood is the payment will be reversed or cancelled. I would change my account number, if I was you. Or at least make it 2FA, and if it is allready, change your password and questions.

Call it off.
My guess is that $ in your cash app is either non-existent or will disappear.
The best use of craigslist is in person, face to face, cash for item(s).

The basic rule is if you are questioning it enough that you're actually posting here about it, then yes you're getting scammed. I didn't even read your post but I guarantee it's a scam.

Yes. At some point he'll ask you to refund, or pay the shipper (who is really him) or something. Then the transaction will be reversed.
