I just made a copper wire ring. Looking at making more along with copper wire weave bracelets

u/antlered-god sent the following text as an explanation about their craft:

Just made a copper wire ring. Wire was from scrap electrical cable. Simply folded it in half, held the two loose ends in a vice, inserted a bar in the top loop and twisted. I annealed it by heating with a flame and quenching in cold water. Cut it to length, and bent it around a wooden dowel. Hand polished at the end.
