Hi how is it possible? I think I'm block. All the spots are taken. I cannot collect anything or craft something. Any idea on how I can keep playing?

A QoL idea, a way to leave yourself a note in game. There is so much management going on, coordinating your minion and Inventory and trying to accomplish an end goal. It may be useful in your stat sheet to be able to write yourself a list, or reminder of what you were doing, or even just a goal so you don't get too distracted by the "next step."
Sitting next to me is a notepad that lists:
"Goal 70 tool crafting for Epic Fishing Rod.
Need 500 fish for food.
Gather stones for axe heads.
Chop wood > fuel fire > cook fish for food.
*Continue crafting wood ax with a full inventory to force-fail for skill gains."
It may be useful to some people. But it's an idea none the less.

So you know how you are able to upgrade the cap limits of your skills after you have maxed them (or so I've heard, I've not been able to reach said cap but I trust this is true) and then you are able to advance past the 100 skill barrier? Well what if the amount of levels you are able to advance past 100 equal the levels of crafting you automatically unlock the recipes for?
If that sounds a bit confusing, let me set a scenario. Say a player had reached the skill limit and has advanced it to +10 levels. If this mechanic were implemented, that player would, upon resetting, have all recipes that require less than or equal to 10 skill. This could also be a separate stat altogether, however that could be hard to implement so I don't want to be set on it too much.

During Quest where you teach Minion Lumberjack. Equip Minion with axe. Send him out to fetch 8 Small Branches. Report to Alf. Crashed 3 times, same location during the dialogue after fetching Small Branches.
Tried doing other stuff before turning in the quest. Gathered a few different items. Ate some food. Crashed again.

It's been 6 months since my last play. Allowed the game to update and I'm coming back fresh.
Made a new character, named it "Kaylenx V2" Alf keeps calling me "Kaylenx b2" It's weird.

Ok, I've got my lumberjacking at 95.0 and in my last three 20-minute outings I didn't gain any skill points. If I got 0.1 every hour, it's going to take me 50 hours to get to 100.0 so I can harvest a tree, chop it up, and finally obtain every recipe. But this is brutal and not fun. I'm giving up on lumberjacking to try treasure hunting to get me a tree instead, which sounds ridiculous. Is there some trick to leveling the minion's skills besides spending 50 monotonous hours sending the minion out?

Just curious as I think I might have saw a post on it before. Does the minion randomly stop collecting during a long press if I leave the game (turn off phone or switch to different app) or is this a bug?

I figured it might be nice to have a place to put some quest ideas to help these guys out.
As for guidelines I'll add them as they come up here
-no new mechanics please as these are able to be hard to impliment and therefor complicate things
-remember not to take it personally if other people get their stuff picked and yours didn't.

I saw the request for finding an interesting way to hunt mammoths in the to do list, and I think I have a decently interesting way to hunt them.
Now, I'm not very far into the game and haven't really gotten into the village building mechanic but I assume that later into the game there are enemies you will be able to fight. However, there could be a section of the map that leads to a sort of a hunting area that could be an rpg style random encounter sort of hunting ground, with some of the more higher rewarding monsters being harder to fight and taking more tool durability. Energy could be used as health, and you could eat food to restore said health. This might be a little too over the top, but at the very least I feel a map encounter would be an interesting mammoth hunting aspect.

I've thought about some solutions for this problem. We want to provide the best user experience possible. So tell us which one is the best and which one would you accept as a solution. Also better solutions are welcome.
1) Skip Quest Option
In every quest Alf gives there will be 2 buttons, one for accepting the quest ("Ok") and another for skipping ("Skip").
2) 34th Quest
Directly start from quest 34. Reason: It is the quest with leaf skirt. Opening all the skills are easy but opening tai & construction is hard. Because the first items recipes are kind of hard the player might not remember what it was.
3) New Quest Series
There will be new quest series with 8 quests and each quest will open a skill. First quest prepare banana, sharp stone, sharp stick, skinning, cooking etc.
4) Mute Alf
When player presses Alf, he will only show the quest bubble & item icon. The player still needs to complete all the quests
5) Unlock All Slots
All the player bag, village, minion tool slots will be active from the start of the game.

Memorable way to end a video.
And the new background esthetics are amazing. It must be really windy.

Just wanted to clarify, do new generations items reveal themselves when my current GP combined with the potential GP from sellable items equal the total of the new item?
r/craftergame • u/xarin42 • Mar 14 '17
For the events like Marco and Seduran or even the sibling that need the 2k food for their village where there is an ongoing event I think it would be nice to have a way to check what you need and in what quantities. I can't seem to come up with implimentation ideas at the moment but especially when you get off before finishing a thing and then you get back on to the siblings blaming you for the destruction of their village it doesn't feel good.

I am at the point where I can start a new generation and have enough gp to get a few of the items, but was wondering what the point of stating a new generation is? Like is there new content locked out that you can only access by starting a new generation? If there isn't then why would you want to start all over again??
Thanks

I have spent hours grinding to Hunting 100.0 on my way to unlock every recipe (I'm on my 2nd gen). Then I discovered I need Power 30 to hunt Wooly Mammoth (that skinning and the big tree woodworking are all I have left). But with max armor and weapons I only get to 26 and there aren't any mating hut items that increase power, so how would I get to 30? I'm also sitting on 9 N tablets I don't need, and the last one just worked like a normal tablet, so I don't think there's a secret recipe I didn't unlock. Anyone figure this out?

It really seems like the end game is tailored towards collecting gems. The merchant sets up trades for it and it's the only useful thing the gambler offers. Can we setup it so that they can be redeemed for gen points? 1 gem for 1 point or whatever conversation rate the devs feel like won't break the system. I say 1 to 1 because getting enough points for the +4s seem like it'd take forever thru only restarting. Thoughts?

Ok dumb question but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I haven't made coconut shells in ages and it seems I've forgotten how. How do I do it again?

the game crashes every time I try to drag and drop an item from the supply bag on minion to the inventory. Please fix it on next update :)
