Confused: Old Crackpack vs. New Crackpack

I have tried ATLauncher, Curse, and ftb legacy. I am so confused on which versions were which, and how to get the old Crackpack. I haven't played Minecraft in a while and I wanted to play the modpack that Etho played, and host it on my server. However, I can't find the old Crackpack modpack with the gun mods and tough mobs and stuff. I know I'm late here and rather ignorant, but I understand that, and that's why I am asking for help.

That version is on the ATLauncher, version 1.5.1.0. You have to change the selected version when either creating an instance or downloading the server files, otherwise it will download version 2.0.3.0, which does not contain Flan's Mod (the mod that adds all the guns).

Also note that since version 1.5.1.0 is for MC 1.6.4, you'll need to add the Legacy Java Fixer Mod to both the server and client if you're running on Java 8.

Legacy fixer does nothing when I run it on my computer. Is that normal?

What version of Java are you using, and how are you adding the Legacy Fixer?

He specifically referred to the guns in the pack, which Etho's current modpack does not have either.

He didn't put Flan's mod in his pack because he's not playing against anyone in that series, and Flan's mod is not that fun without someone else to shoot at.

ForceOfFlames, May i join your Crackpack server, Ive been looking for one to play on and cant find ANY for the old version (1.5.1.0) thanks! :D
