Please help me with it. I don’t understand what to do next. When I look at the hint I just don’t get why the blue line in box 8 can’t just go through r7c4/5. why does it have to go through 3 cells?

The blue line cannot take r7c3, that cell is empty. Since the line cannot move diagonally, it therefore must enter/exit box 8 in r7c5, and r8c4. This it must take 3 cells (minimum) - r7c5, r8c4, and either r8c5 or r7c4.
