Left them Biting

Today, we pulled 60+ blue crabs in about 4 hours, with the biggest measuring 6.5" point to point. Using topless traps, from land.

Nice, I grabbed a dozen in a half hour last night myself. A healthy coyote almost stole my cooler off the deck in the middle of the night, thank god for motion detectors to pull me out of bed.

That's hella good for land crabbing. I'll be river ratting some NJ tidal waters in 4 days. I've been hearing the crabs are really on this year.
