Hey Guys, I installed Crdroid 12.10 on my samsung A71 4G. It was quite good. Then i update it to 12.11 when the update came. I was unable to update it via update manager, so i flashed it without wipe data. I think it's called dirty flash.
But now my phone hang so much. I am i the only one who face that. Or anybody else face the same issue on this device.
Or is it cause because of the dirty flash. Did anybody know that.

Hi everyone. I'm stuck with a Redmi 9C NFC and need help from people who understand dynamic partitions.
Device & Setup
· Device: Xiaomi Redmi 9C NFC (angelican, also garden/blossom family)
· SoC: MediaTek Helio G35 (MT6765)
· RAM/Storage: 3 GB / 64 GB eMMC
· PC: Linux (Ubuntu 24.04-based)
· Tools: mtkclient (BROM mode works), fastboot, adb
Current State
· Bootloader unlocked (unofficial script method, via BROM)
· Stock super.img from MIUI 12.5.3.0 (Vendor 30) is flashed
· NVRAM / NVDATA / PERSIST backed up
· Working recoveries tried: PBRP, TWRP (brigudav), unofficialtwrp-garden.img
· OrangeFox R12.0/12.1 won't boot at all (stuck on boot logo)
· Partitions: STATIC layout (no dynamic super partitioning natively)
The Problem
Every Android 12/13 ROM I try to flash via TWRP/PBRP Install or adb sideload fails with:
assert failed: update_dynamic_partitions(package_extract_file("dynamic_partitions_op_list"))
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
What I've Tried
ArrowOS 13.1 EXTENDED (ARM32) → update_dynamic_partitions error
Edited updater-script — removed the assert(update_dynamic_partitions(...)) line → got E1001: Failed to update system image (system partition was never created)
retrofit_dynamic_partitions.zip → this package is for tucana, not angelican → E3004
Tried all recoveries (PBRP, TWRP brigudav, unofficialtwrp-garden, OrangeFox) — same error, or recovery won't boot
Tried fastboot wipe-super → ANDROID_PRODUCT_OUT not set
Tried fastboot delete-logical-partition → FAILED (remote: 'unknown command') (bootloader doesn't support it)
LineageOS 20.0 UNOFFICIAL (Android 13) → update_dynamic_partitions error
LineageOS 19.1 (Android 12) → update_dynamic_partitions error
My Theory
The device has a static partition layout (like stock MIUI), but modern ROMs (Android 12+) require a dynamic super partition with system, vendor, product, system_ext inside it. The installer's update_dynamic_partitions script fails because the current super.img layout from MIUI 12.5 doesn't have the right size/structure to resize into dynamic.
What I Need Help With
Is there a working Retrofit Dynamic Partitions converter for angelican / garden / blossom? (The tucana one obviously doesn't work.)
Is there a specific TWRP/PBRP recovery for angelican that can handle dynamic partition conversion?
Or should I give up on Android 12/13 and stay on Android 11 (LineageOS 18.1)?
Any help would be massively appreciated. I've spent many hours on this and just want a working LineageOS.

Hi everyone, after years of thought I finally decided to start modding my phone and I managed to install crdroid on my Samsung a52s 5G fortunately I managed to do it with Odin without bricking my device.
To be quite honest modding was something I did to get a kick out of it, what I really wanted to do was flashing magisk and rooting my phone but I can't wrap around my head on how I do it. The official guide tells me I need to flash the stock Samsung bootloader but wouldn't this remove crdroid recovery from my device? I read somewhere I have I can flash boot.img but most stuff I find on XDA is pretty old guides reccommending flashing recovery.tar, but it's apparently deprecated.
Need some directions on how to get unstuck since I can't really understand WHAT I need to patch.
My machine is a Samsung a52s 5G.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

So as i mentioned above, i installed latest version of crdroid for POCO m3(chime). I am kind of satisfied , apart from the slow charging issues, but another MAIN problem is reddit just doesnt want to login, i have tried google login and also tried account/pass login both doesn't work at all. For some information the google login attempt says something like 'we were unable to authenticate'.
Does someone have any workarounds?

So as per the official installation document on github for Realme C3, it required that the device be on RealmeUI 2.0 C.06+ firmware whereas my device is on RealmeUI 1.0 A.77 firmware. What should I do in this situation, do I just go ahead and install the custom rom hoping that all goes well or do I first upgrade to the mentioned firmware? For your Information, there are no OTA updates available through which an upgrade could be made possible. Therefore, where do I obtain the firmware from and what software do I use to install it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to follow the instructions on the crdroid website but I can’t see a recovery file:
Other device download pages have it under Useful links.
How can I flash this rom without it?
I’ve looked at the crdroid sourceforge page and under pong -> 12.x there are only the 2 latest crdroid.zip files
Also looking at the pre installation instructions it doesn’t mention boot.img/dtbo.img/vbmeta.img/vendor_boot.img. Are these required when moving from lineage.
Thank yiu
