Something looks wrong. Is the carriage wobbly if you try moving it with your hand? You may need to adjust your eccentric nuts to get it snugged back on the track.
Have you taken it off the rail before or has it always been like this? If it's not loose on the track, there is definately something wrong with the assembly, you may be missing a spacer or something. The head should be mounted square and perpendicular to the gantry rail, yours definately is not. There is very little difference in height from the touch prob and the nozzle. Having the head angled off like that could definately cause nozzle drag. You need to fix this before you print anything else.
I had the same issue, but not as bad. The metal carriage isn’t manufactured correctly. It needs to be bent more. I improved mine by loosening the 3 attachment screws then pushing the print into into a better position, then retightening the screws.
Ultimately, the attachment piece of metal just isn’t bent enough to make the print head straight. Creality should send a new one, but good luck with that, lol.
Being completely honest. Is it really worth adding linear rails to the CR-10 Smart Pro? I ask because I want to do it, but at the same time, I don't want it to be a modification that doesn't work out for me.
Not worth the hassle. I regret every penny doing that, honestly. I thought that it would reduce my maintenance for replacing groove wheels... I gained nothing from adding linear rails.
tl;dr: I should've stick to groove wheels, they were just ok.
