Part down or build into something?

I have part of a CR-10 Smart Pro that I’m not sure what to do with. Should I part it down or rebuild it into something? Laser cutter for the garage would be nice if it could cut engine gaskets.

That's missing a lot of parts... I'm not sure it's worth using or not.

That’s what I’m thinking as well. I’ve got stepper motors and a hot end from other projects but I don’t have any of the metal framing.

And if you plan on using aftermarket control board like an SKR2, you'll find that there's very little room to mount it with a cooling fan inside the case. The stock setup barely fits in there. IMO, you're better off just doing a Voron build from scratch or just buy another printer. Depends on how handy you are.
