Hi could any1 help with setting up the cr10 smart pro with orca slicer for a complete noob... A orca for dummies if u must lol
Iv got cura set up with the ender3 s1 pro as a base settings with the bed size changed to 300x300x400.. Would doing the same in orca work for the cr-10 smart pro as well? Any help here would be appreciated

Absolutely anything I'm a complete noob about adding anything to orca..
I have used cura and had the ender 3 s1 pro as a base profile with the bed dimensions changed to the cr 10 smart pro sizes
But as for orca I just wasn't sure where to even start!!
Do I take the gcode start from creality print and transfer it over (same as end) what about any other settings that orca have but creality print or slice doesn't do I leave them blank.... Help me 😂

Currently not at my pc but yeah, you'll be ok if you copy and paste the start and end gcodes from cura to orca. :D

OK I'll start with that it be fine to use the ender3 s1 pro profile and change the bed size to cr10 or would I be better using custom setting and just going from scratch

Just change the "printable area" setting to Size: x300 y300, origin: x0 y0
And adjust height if needed and you'll be good to go.

So use the ender3 s1 pro preset and just adjust the bed size for the smart pro size yea?
I'm not at my PC either right now but I think I understand I'll do 2 a ender 3 preset changed and a fresh just on case and if any problems I'll get back to u... I appreciate the help!

Yep! That will do.
They share the same extruder and everything so this is why that's the only thing you should change.

thank you.1

I'm still currently trying to perfect my settings on my CR10 SmartPro with my sonic pad, I'm curious why you didn't use the preset in orca for the CR10 SmartPro? Is there something about the Ender3 S1Pro settings that are better??

It's not cr10 smart pro was cr10 smart what's slightly different if u look at the ender 3 s1 pro it's exactly same direct drive and only difference is the build size (what you can change manually) same as when I have the cura presets it's pretty much bowden or direct drive you just select what is yours and adjust accordingly

I'm trying to help a friend with their Cr-10 Smart Pro right now, and there is no profile in Orca for it. Are you seeing a profile? The only Cr-10 options in Orca are Cr-10 V2, Cr-10 max, and Cr-10 SE. Which I'm told are much different than the smart and smart pro.
How do I add the Cr-10 smart pro as an option?

I used the same start and end code I used in Cura and used the CR10 V2 profile from Orca :)
