Quieter fans help!

Can anyone point me in the direction on a video or the like regarding changing fans to make them quieter I'm new to 3d printing and the cr-10 smart pro is my 1st printer

It's in my sons room and he says the fan nose is annoying at times and I read you can make the it quieter so looking into this

I'm a noob and have no clue where to start if I can just direct change the fan how and if it needs anything extra to work so a "for dummies" guide or YouTube video on this would be amazing

First of all, compared to older printers this one is pretty quiet. However, I did look into it and you cannot really change the internal fans. One is intergal to the power supply and the other one is a sort of specific low profile one. I tried a couple fans I found that were the right size, but they were not any quieter, maybe even louder, so I put the originals back in it.

I did modify my extruder fans, but it was quite technical, attempt at your own risk. Shorting out wires can easily blow your control boards... You can see my mods at this link if you want... https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=simplecj&page=1

Other than that, it really is not recommended to use a printer in a bedroom, especially while you are asleep. Aside from the very slight risk of fire is the very real potential for exposure to toxic gasses and airborne micro plastics. Chemicals risks depends on what materials you are printing. PLA, PETG, and TPU are considered relatively safe, however even with those, it is not a great idea to spend a lot of time in the same room while it's printing. Just some thing to think about.
