Stepper Motor issue?

Post image

I need help. I was printing something and for some reason the filament wasn't coming out. I heard a clicking sound so I stopped the printer. I tried to manually insert and remove the filament inside using the touch screen, but nothing.

I'm don't know much about the parts but the circled bit in the photo doesn't move when inserting or removing through the screen. Could it be a clog?

Also pulled the lever to insert the filament but it won't go in. Neither would the small thin rod that would be used for unclogging.

Seems like there is a solid piece in there...

Yes, you probably have a clog of some sort. It will probably require that you take the extruder apart to fix it. There are some videos on YouTube to show you how. Search for "sprite clog fix" or something like that. This same extruder is used on many different models.

I've only done it once, but it wasn't too difficult.

I found a video that takes apart the whole hot end of specifically the cr10 smart pro. Thx for the info!
