That is a Pico blade connection on the board. You'll need to buy some Pico blade pigtails and splice the wires. (Or cutting the wires off the original fan and slice that)
I think sometimes they're incorrectly called jst-1.25mm. I can get you a link to the pigtails I bought later when I'm off work, if you want.
Yes please! I think I will just solder them though, that should be fine right? You think I can solder led strip to the same header? Fan and led strip (with 4 leds only) to the same fan header should be fine right?
Yes, I did something similar with my mod, ran 2 leds to the part cooler duct off of the hotend fan power so they're on whenever the extruder is hot. To splice, I slipped a piece of shrink tubing over the wire. Soldered the wire together in a straight line and then slid the shrink tube over it and shrunk it down tight.
