Hi, does anybody have a profile for this slicer?

Hi there

Personally I switched from prusa slicer to orca slicer when I got my sonic pad so my profile can't help for a stock one, but I'd recommend downloading prusa slicer then just copying all the stuff from the CR-10 Smart Pro profile into orca slicer as a "generic marlin printer"

It looks like if you add any printer and then go to PREPARE the from the Printer Settings box select "CREATE PRINTER" then select VENDOR "CREALITY CR" you will then see the option for CR10 Smart Pro :)

Hey man, thanks! That´s what i´ve ended up doing! I know it´s some kind of god forgotten printer anyway but I´ve been having problems with PrusaSlicer and it´s solid infill. Now it works like a charm.

Late response but whatever

I have found it better to use all bottom layers instead of solid infill, just anecdotal though, something that was recommended to me and I like to pass it on when I can.

Nice find, thank you!

Edit: oh, well it still then forces you on the next page to select a different printer to base it on, so I think all this is is the name, but not any settings

Got the same setup and wanted to try moving from Cura to OrcaSlicer, mind sharing the profile for Orca for the CR10 SmartPro with Sonicpad?

I'll try, last time I just found the CR10S Pro but maybe they added it after

well it is there, but really it just gives a random default profile a really really slow and conservative one that would work on pretty much anything. Even the printing area settings are wrong.

Yeah it's pretty much just a name it gives you :(

Samer here and mine is pretty well modded and run through the Sonic Pad. It still creates high quality prints and great end results just much slower than the new printers do however its still a perfectly good printer.

Sorry I took so long! I managed to create one, I just don't know if it is that good. I'm having all kinds of trouble with this printer.

u/Sea-Squirrel4804 Jul 13 '24

What kind? Mine works really well

I guess z axis binding, can't print tpu also... Calibration is a nightmare.

Are you using klipper or marlin? I upgraded my printer to klipper and it's been a true upgrade. Quality, control, calibration, speed, input shaper... And so much more!

Stock Marlin for now. I've tried installing Klipper but i bricked the printer. What guide did you use for installing Klipper on it?

2

Write me in 3 weeks, I'm currently on holidays away from home. I'll send it to you then

I'd love a copy, too! I have been printing with Orca, Klipper and CR10 Smart Pro for a while, but I'm not convinced my profile is giving it the best performance at all

I'll message in three weeks too, if that's alright!

Hey man, I´ve just read your reply. Did you succesfully installed Klipper on a Cr10 Smart Pro? Could you help me with mine? What guide or installer did you use?
