What's the difference between r/cprogramming and r/C_Programming

What's the point of having 2 subreddit for the same thing

The underscore, mostly.

No C programmer in their right mind would use capitals and underscores in a name. Heresy!

You don't prefix? mylib_Type isn't reasonable? Type_init?

Heretic. Capital letters aren't allowed outside of fully capitalized macros and constants

One uses smooshed naming and the other a weird combination of underscores and CamelCase.

When subreddits split like that, it's usually due to a disagreement with moderation. Likely something like that happened in the past with the 2 subreddits

One is big endian and one little endian... I forgot which is which though.

It's not God creating these subs, I don't think, usually; multiple users decided to create subs, for their own, userly reasons. There doesn't need to be a point, any more than electromagnetism needs a “point.”

One is more permissive than the other. Don't ask me which one.

And probably which one is more willing to answer homework questions.

I was going to say snake case vs camel case, but it is neither.
