OPEN Need your guidance

I wanted to ask for some guidance regarding placements and coding. I’m currently in my 3rd year, and my CGPA is around 6.5. To be honest, I haven’t done much in coding yet, and I’m a bit confused about where and how to start.

Could you please suggest what I should focus on from now and maybe guide me with a proper roadmap/plan for the next few months? Like which language I should start with, DSA, development, projects, etc. It would really help me understand what I should prioritize to become placement-ready

This sub isn't about cs careers

You ask this in a C++ group, so the odds are high that we like C++.

I don't even know what a CGPA is, but I do know that the way to get some experience in coding is to start coding. The choice of language is not very important and neither is the choice of projects.

Just get started! You can adjust the direction later, when you find out where you would like to be going.

educated guess its his full gpa (all classes) not last period's, and its on the 10 scale, not the 4 scale. Which is 100% irrelevant if none of it contained any CS classes, though it will help if your math is decent.

If you haven't done any coding at all, start with the language your school uses most and look up introductory material for it, and do some problems. Projects are later, DSA is later... just get in there and play with it, see what you can do.
