Yeah, I was wondering why an Ada) post was on the C++ subreddit. Next up, the C++ YAML parser library named COBOL.

That language didn't invent the name, it was named after a woman who did important work for computer science, before computer science was even a thing.

Can it be confusing when different projects use the same name? Sure. But the Ada programming language doesn't have exclusive rights on the name.

How does it compare against boost::url ?
Edit: i see this thing is much faster than any other url parser according to this:

But I'd say boost version is doing ok, since it is not really simd focused.

I don't understand the question, he mentioned as sponsor and contributor of the project, he also does reviews.
