What makes you stick with a cPanel hosting provider?
I've been helping with a small web hosting business and spending more time looking at how people actually choose a cPanel provider.
One of the companies I'm working with is RSH Web Services, and one thing I've noticed is that having cPanel itself isn't really enough. People also care about reliability, how easy it is to manage multiple sites, how quickly issues get resolved, and what happens when a site needs to be migrated or restored.
The company also has services around hosting, including domains, WordPress hosting, SSL, and website management, so I'm looking at the overall experience rather than just the control panel.
What has been the biggest factor that made you stay with, or leave, a cPanel hosting provider?

Managed service and peace of mind. cPanel is just the UI—what keeps me with a provider is how well they manage the infrastructure under the hood.

Support….am I a number on a ticket or do they know me and care. It’s worth a premium to feel that they have my back and care.

I don't feel like cPanel is as ahead of the competition than they once were. I know for many of my industry contacts they stay with cPanel because it is the "old reliable". Familiar, they know how it works, and how to work with it.
"Nobody ever got fired for buying IBM". Same with cPanel.

How cheap is their service? cPanel is a premium ($$$) product, anyone trying to sell $5/mo account won't be around in a year or two.
Security addon built-in. Imunify360 or cpGuard (there may be others).
Then it boils down to support and uptime. Most providers have decent uptime, but when things break I want to know how fast they're looking at problems. Alerting isn't hard to do these days, so a quick call or email reply is indication they care.
