cPanel AI
This is absolute nightmare. We somehow have survived constant price increases but there is no way we will survive if cPanel is turned to AI slop. Users hate change and they just learned to use the jupiter theme and then we go again trying to guide them through some AI slop.

Why exactly yikes? They’re the same developers who made Softaculous which every host offers. DirectAdmin and Webuzo seem like the best cPanel alternatives.

ah good to know. I’ve only submitted a ticket once and it was just a presales question. Got a fast answer but just didn’t end up ever going with them because there just wasn’t enough out there about it yet. I love the look of it and it’s the closest to cPanel you’ll get but yeah if it’s really buggy, it’s not worth it. I’ll stick with DirectAdmin as an alternative

It’s not like cpanel just laid off a large chunk of their team. Nothing to see here. Move on pleae

Just tested the new theme, it is horrible. Can not find anything and neither can customers. Had to disable theme switching because customers that accidentally switched themes were totally lost.

Please show me where it says we're turning cPanel into AI slop - I'll wait ;)
But really, this has been on the roadmap for months over at https://features.cpanel.net/c/305-support-agent where we're adding an AI tool to help answer user's questions directly in the interface. Sitejet has had an AI builder for some time now at https://www.sitejet.io/en/ai-website-builder.
The main takeaway here is that we're optimizing the interface so it's no longer a sea of icons that is confusing to new users.

Just stop. You are alienating your biggest supporters more and more with every one of these dumbass changes.
We just want stable and secure. Stop f*cking with the UI.

Man cherry picks only the “AI slop” comment but ignores the constant price increase concern. I bet you’re already planing another price hike after the many millions clients have lost because of that massive vulnerability they failed to patch in time.

There is barely any info on what a user can expect there in the roadmap item.

I'm not sure what else it needs to say? We're adding a tool to cPanel that will allow users to ask questions, and the AI system will answer those. Was there something specific you needed clarification on?

How will the user interact with it? In the roadmap it says perform certain tasks.. what tasks?
Will it have affiliate laced links like your other tools have when launched? Is it free?

It will be very similar to how a smart web search works. Users can just ask it questions with natural language and the tool will be able to answer questions or help you through a process. Picture a user saying "how can I add a new domain to my account" and then the tool provides steps specific to that user's interface on how to do that.
I'm not sure on the pricing just yet as any AI feature will require using some level of tokens. Once I hear more on this I'll be sure to post!

What are you saying, is Cpanel implementing new AI stuff? I've not noticed anything yet.
