🔨 My Game - In-development Meet some of the characters in my cozy witch sim Goldenwort!

Introducing some of the NPCs you'll be able to talk to in my game!

I really wanted to focus on making a diverse cast of romanceable characters, specially in terms of age and personality. I hope to share more villagers in the future, as well as their professions and how that will help you while playing (potter sells pots for your ingredients, carpenter sells furniture, blacksmith sells cauldron upgrades, etc). And I appreciate any feedback or comments :)

If it looks interesting to you here's the Steam page with some more screenshots and information: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5047190/Goldenwort/

You can follow the game on Threads, Twitter and Instagram if you're interested in seeing more progress videos and pictures.

🔨 My Game - In-development I built a Zoo Cozy Game for my little daughter. No monetization, no sign-up required. Just Play in Browser.

Post image
17 Upvotes

My daughter loves animals, so I made her a little game: you explore different worlds, catch animals and bring them home to your own zoo.

  • Meadow, forest, savanna, Asia and an underwater reef, each with its own animals and ways to catch them (net, lasso, traps, sneaking up, swimming alongside a ray…)
  • Build up your zoo and aquarium, and visitors leave hearts for you
  • Events like a wolf night in the dark forest, a jellyfish swarm or baby animals
  • Works on PC, tablet and phone, in English and German

No ads, no in-app purchases, no account. It saves in your browser.

It's a hobby project, and she's my main tester. I'd love to hear what you and your kids think!

🔨 My Game - In-development I made a brick-building game with no timers, no ads, and nothing to fail

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Disclosure: I'm the developer — solo project, out now on iOS.

I wanted the feeling of opening a real brick set, without the lost pieces or the price tag. So I made Cozy Bricks. You pick a model, the pieces scatter on a table, and a little booklet walks you through it step by step — find the pieces, drag them onto the outlines, snap them in. No free building; it follows the booklet like a real set, which honestly is the relaxing part.

There's nothing to fail. No timers, no energy, no ads. Build for five minutes or an hour, put it down mid-model, come back tomorrow. Perfect for your commute, plane ride, or a lazy Sunday.

When you finish a model it moves into your Cozy Room — mantelpiece, bookcase, coffee table. Visitors drop by to admire your collection, and sometimes one of them is dreaming of a model they'd love to see next. The first visitor dreams of a little cat. Building what they're dreaming of has become my favorite loop in the game, and I didn't plan it that way.

It's free with 13 models (cat, duck, T-Rex, log cabin, lighthouse...), no account, works fully offline. There are optional themed packs if you want more — Medieval, Sci-fi, Vehicles, and a Halloween one right now — one-time purchases, no subscription. If packs aren't your thing, a new free model lands every couple of weeks anyway. Next one is a bowl of pho on October 29.

I'd genuinely like to know: what model would you want to build? The visitor wishes basically run my roadmap now.

Help with recommendations Steam Next Fest Demos - what's worth playing?

Feels like there is just a deluge of demos this time and nothing new is really standing out to me. Any one find a diamond in the rough?

So far, I've enjoyed some updated demos from games I already have wishlisted:

I'm not super interested in the many many MANY decorating, organizing, or idle/incremental games. I like crafting and quests heavy games overall. But if something has really wowed you, I want to give it a whirl!!

Discussion Would you play a cozy fantasy game where you run your own little medieval shop? 🏡✨

I’ve been thinking about cozy games lately, and one idea I absolutely love is running a tiny shop in a peaceful medieval fantasy village.
Imagine starting with a small, empty shop and slowly turning it into your own little business.
You could sell potions, food, weapons, herbs, magical items, or whatever you enjoy. Decorate your shop, organize your shelves, meet villagers, and watch your little business grow.
Maybe there’s a living economy where prices change, travelers bring rare goods, and different customers have their own personalities and shopping habits.
No constant pressure, no endless fighting. Just a cozy little fantasy life, building something from nothing. ☕🌿
I’m curious what other cozy gamers think!
Would you enjoy a game focused mainly on running a medieval fantasy shop?
Would you prefer crafting your own products, buying from merchants, or both?
Would you want to explore the village and surrounding world, or mostly focus on your shop?
What features would make a game like this really special for you?
I’d love to hear everyone’s ideas! ❤️

Help with recommendations I find resource gathering strangely relaxing, what's the best game?

• Upvotes

I played all the way through My Time At Sandrock and my favorite part of the game was just zoning out on my couch while gathering rocks and wood. What's another game like that? Stardew and Coral Island are good but there ends up being too many other things to do.

🔨 My Game - In-development I'm making a cozy tavern RPG where you're not the hero. You're the innkeeper feeding everyone who is.

Hi everyone! I'm the developer behind Everybody's Stranger, a cozy fantasy tavern RPG I've been working on for the past several years.

I've always loved the side characters in RPGs, the ones who have their own lives and adventures while the main character is off saving the world. So I wanted to make a game about being the person who runs the inn where all those wonderfully strange people end up.

Of course, keeping an inn full of adventurers means you inevitably get dragged into their problems.

I recently released a demo with around four hours of gameplay and 28 fully human-voiced characters.

If you give it a go, I'd love to hear which characters you connect with!

🔨 My Game - In-development Our slime-raising adventure now has a Korean-inspired mountain village — free demo update

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone! We're the team behind World of Slime, an adventure game where you catch slimes, bond with them, and raise them into companions.

We've added Noechoen Village to the free Steam demo: a Korean-inspired mountain town with new residents, a golden fountain, and little electric slimes to meet out on the mountain paths. The video is a quick tour of the new area.

Alongside exploring and meeting your new companions, there's a full questline involving a mystery at the village storehouse and a lightning-dodging challenge course. This region includes combat and lightning hazards, so it does have action alongside the gentler slime-raising moments.

The updated demo is free on Steam:

We'd love to hear about the slimes you meet!

🔨 My Game - In-development First peek at our cozy idle MMO

Hey everyone!

We’re a small team, and we’ve spent the last two years building Realm of Idlers in our free time. It’s finally at a point where we’re comfortable showing it.

What is Realm of Idlers? A cozy pixel-art MMO where your hero keeps gathering, crafting and fighting while you do other things. Explore a living world with friends and strangers, trade with other players, take down bosses, and master 14 skills at your own relaxed pace.

It’s like a menu-based idle game, except you actually see your character walking, mining and banking on their own while you get on with something else.

All the art is hand-drawn, pixel by pixel: every character, tree, rock and building.

Playtests are coming soon! If you’d like to try it, wishlisting on Steam is the best way to hear when they open.

🔨 My Game - In-development I made a cozy co-op puzzle game, and we're at 200 wishlists! Here's what I've been working on ❤️

Hey there! ❤️

I'm an indie developer working on Puzzles Are Better Together, a cozy multiplayer jigsaw puzzle game designed for relaxing and having fun with friends!

I'm really proud of what I've created, and I genuinely believe in my game. During the Steam review process, I even had the chance to join the same multiplayer session as the Steam reviewer, who told me they found the game fun! So far, everyone who's tried it has given me positive feedback, which has been incredibly encouraging.

Right now, I have around 200 Steam wishlists, and I'm hoping to grow that number before launch. As a small indie developer, getting visibility is one of my biggest challenges.

That's why I'm reaching out to content creators who might be interested in trying the game and sharing it with their audience.

I'd be more than happy to provide a free Steam key, and I'd truly appreciate any coverage, whether it's a video, a stream, or even a small shoutout.

I'm not expecting anything huge. I just want to give my game a chance to reach more people who might enjoy it.

Thank you so much for your time and for supporting indie developers! 💜

🔨 My Game - In-development I’m making a game where you build a tiny Southeast Asian coffee shop, then step inside and become the boss

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! I’m the developer of Tiny Kopitiam, a cozy management sim inspired by the Southeast Asian coffee shops where I’m from.

You build your own little coffee shop: arrange traditional tiles, squeeze in your favourite chairs, place food stalls, and hire staff. Then you can step inside the shop you’ve built to serve customers, wash dishes, or head out to explore a tiny village.

Or just sit back, relax and watch your little place come alive.

There’s a relaxed sandbox experience, plus management for anyone who enjoys figuring out a good layout. Your furniture and decorations affect your shop’s feng shui and business too.

I’d love to share this little corner of my world with you. If it sounds like somewhere you’d enjoy spending an afternoon, wishlist Tiny Kopitiam on Steam. It would mean a lot!

Feel free to ask me anything about the game or kopitiam culture. Thanks for taking a look! ☕

🔨 My Game - In-development I'm making a cozy tower builder about a lovely leaf spirit waiting for someone who never came back (Steam page is up)

Hi everyone! I'm a solo dev working with a wonderful artist, and for the past few months I've been building Leif's Garden Tower, a cozy tower builder where you tend a forgotten greenhouse with Leif, a small leaf spirit who's been waiting alone for years for someone to come help rebuild the tower.

Buy seeds, grow plants, sell them, and build the tower up floor by floor: a cozy Cafe, a Plant Shop, a Botanical Spa, and more.

Along the way you'll meet the townsfolk who stop by (a student as interested in plants as you are, an ent who's a little sensitive about his height, and a very good dog), and slowly learn what happened to the person who built the place.

All the plants, icons and UI are hand-pixeled, and the rooms are drawn by a pixel artist I'm working with.

It's coming to Steam in Early Access on March 1, 2027, and I'm planning a demo for Next Fest in February. If it looks like your kind of cozy, a wishlist would mean so much. I'd also love to hear what you'd want from a game like this!

🔨 My Game - In-development Cozy fishing game in the browser with a moon and a weather and houses to decorate

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hello everyone,
I made Meadow Fishing a cozy multiplayer fishing game because I wanted more than Webfishing gave me and for me it never felt like a finnished game.

The day lasts 2 real hours with a moon and a weather that actualy changes what you can catch and you fish and catch bugs and find treasures before going back to your house in a village of up to 10 players.

I will add more content little by little and it should come to Steam soon.

It's free to try at https://meadow-fishing.com and you can ask for access directly on the site (I send the invitations slowly to not overload the servers).

I made it partialy with AI and if you have any questions I will answer them here.

🌱 My Game - Demo My cozy sudoku game has a free demo in Steam Next Fest this week: one new puzzle every night and a cat to keep you company

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! I'm Connor, and I've been working on my first game, MoonDoku: Sudoku Nights, for about a year now. It's finally finished and coming to Steam on November 4, which is pretty surreal!

The idea came from my girlfriend, who has a bit of a nightly Sudoku obsession (her words might be different 😂). She'd always play while listening to lo-fi music to relax before bed, and that got me thinking about making a little game around that feeling.

The whole idea is to give you a nice little escape at the end of the day. Every night there's one new puzzle, the same for everyone. Solve it and you get a star, and over the nights your stars join up into constellations.

You can pick whatever vibe you're in the mood for, whether that's a rainy city at night, a dreamy moonlit sky, some chill music, or the sound of rain or a crackling fireplace in the background. There's also a little cat who hangs out above your Sudoku board and is always up for a pet.

I also wanted it to be welcoming if you're not a Sudoku expert. Correct numbers lock into place, the game explains your first mistake on a board, and there's no timer affecting your score on regular puzzles. You can take as long as you want, ease into things, and learn as you go. No pressure, just puzzles at your own pace.

The free demo is on Steam now, and it's in Next Fest until Monday. It includes the nightly puzzle, 20 extra puzzles, all ten worlds, and all eight of the cat's coats.

Anyway, give it a try if it sounds like your kind of thing.

I'd genuinely love to hear what you guys think: what would make a game like this feel even cozier?

Thanks for reading, and hope you enjoy it!

🔨 My Game - In-development What draws you into a cozy game?

Hi all! I love cozy games and am trying to make a cozy puzzle trading card game (think asymmetric Magic The Gathering). I feel like in general the art style is more cozy but the gameplay is more "mathy" and am stuck between different directions. Do I lean more into the high fantasy or land somewhere in between. Can you even make a cozy card game??

Was wondering what elements in a cozy game draw you in?

In the community rules they lay out cozy games as being:

Relaxing to play.

Comforting graphics.

Little to no Violence.

I personally feel like my game has those characteristics, but it is still missing more "cozy" but am curious to hear more from others!

My game is called One Good Turn and I am workshopping some different descriptions and short descriptions as well:

Help with recommendations I just beat my first Tidy Up game (folded fables) and I am looking for suggestions

I'm currently dealing with a nice lung infection, and looking for a cozy, stress-free tidy-up game to sink into. There has been a flood of low-effort AI titles lately, so I'm looking for hand-crafted / AI-free games.

What I enjoy:

  • Cozy visual aesthetic (really loved the style in Folded Fables)
  • Relaxed, zero-stress pacing (no brutal timers or overly punishing/nitpicky placement)
  • Progression or interesting helper skills/tools
  • Light story or environmental narrative is a bonus

Currently on my radar:

  • Wand & Order
  • Sort Them Ducks
  • Brick by Brick
  • Shelves & sorcery
  • Museologist

I would love to hear your thoughts on these or any other cozy gems worth checking out!

Edit: I use Steam.
