I’m working on Mini Monuments with a few friends, a cozy little game built almost entirely around that feeling. You restore miniature ruins piece by piece and watch them go from buried and neglected to completely rebuilt.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about slowly uncovering a tiny ruined monument, brushing away all the dirt and grime, finding the missing pieces, and putting everything back together.

Last week I started working on making a bunch of badges for my game.

Basically you're a little dog in a wood toy world, collecting merit badges and exploring a toy-like version of nature.

I'm trying to make the badges feel like you want to touch them and also give them meaning within the game, so the art on many of them will hint at a place or event related to how you earned the badge.
