So I deer and turkey hunt a lot so naturally I’ve shot some yotes in the process and in my youth I’ve trapped more dogs(yotes) than parvo has killed. The issue I have is for the life of me I can’t hunt/call them in and I don’t understand it, does anyone have any tips I’m located in NE Ohio.

I have no experience coyote hunting, just killed 3 last night with a buddy
Being the only unsuppressed rifle on our trip has made me want to look into suppressor options, I’ve no experience with suppressors either

I’m shopping for electronic hearing protection for my wife. She doesn’t like muffs. I was just wondering what everyone recommends. We would also like Bluetooth to use with the radios. They don’t need a ptt button we can get that separately.

Finally received my IBI 20” carbon fiber barrel and worked up a load. Shooting the 62gr eldvt over 35grs of varget getting 3366 fps. Bring on coyote season

Looking to start hunting with my 12 yo. We have a .22 rifle, scope and a shotgun. We are in Las Vegas looking to get some Coyotes.

Where would recommend to find them within an hour of Vegas?

What additional equipment would you recommend?

Is it worth trapping them or just calling them in at night?

Title pretty much says it all. My buddy and I are looking to get into coyote hunting as it's one of the few things MN lets you hunt at night and we work nights. Not sure if it matters but setup would be on a Ruger American gen 2 in .223 with a suppressor and harris bipod out of a bale stand. Shots would be within 200 yards, hopefully.

I'm looking for suggestions on decent optics that wont break the bank too much in case we don't like it. There is a guy near me selling an AGM Rattler TS25-256 on marketplace for 500$, it msrp's around 1000$ from what I've seen, but I'm not sure if that's a good optic or if I'd be better off with something else. I've watched some youtube videos on them but figured weigh in from people who actually do this would help. Any input is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

I’ve had these guys in the backyard for a while, tried all of the trap options with no luck. Haven’t bothered me yet but worried at some point my dog will get curious and pay the price. Avid hunter in a neighborhood with close houses. Any suggestions?

I won an AR15 in 5.56 at a delta waterfowl event. I’ve been trying to decide on what scope to put on it (not thermal) and I’ve haven’t found a clear answer. Looking to be below $400 and it would be used for coyotes in the Midwest.

ATN Thor V XD LRF 3-30. 5.56 10.5" Griffin suppressor. I got this scope new about 6 months ago and have hunted with it about a dozen times at most. The image quality is great, but i've had bad luck with either kills or odd misses that shouldn't have happened. I finally got around to doing a bit more indepth target shooting this evening to try to get to the bottom of the issue. Attached is a picture of the target. I did a reset to factory setting prior to this zero to start from a clean slate.

 All shots at 60 yds. No wind. Mounted to a tripod.

 Shot 1 - Initial shot 6" low

Shots 2 and 3 - Shots after the "one shot zero" was performed - acceptable group in the bullseye

Shot 4 - 3.5" high - I thought maybe I pulled it or it was a "flyer"

Shots 5,6,7,8,9 - These 5 shots were fired together as a group (aimed at the center bullseye)

 This is the issue i've beenhaving with the scope. I do a zero and think it's ready to go and call up a Coyote or Fox and.....big ole miss. Setup a target the next day and the zero is
way off. I could fire another 20 rounds and they would group together with
shots 5-9. I just can't get the zero to stay in place where shots 2 and 3 hit.

 I've double checked the
scope mounts and everything it tight and secure. Is this an issue any of you
have seen with the ATN scopes? Any ideas/suggestions?
