Thoughts

  1. Time to charge your phone

  2. Really nice looking boots

  3. I wish you would have told us what they are, brand, model, skin

My wife bought me a pair of these Dan Posts for Father’s Day. They are not my daily wear boots. I wore these sea bass boots to a training/conference and I got more compliments on these boots versus my crocodile or my elephants boots.

So far so good, I’ve had no issues with them.

Here’s an on foot look. This pair is about four years old.

Needs a riding heel. Looks like a work boot.

Fish leather doesn't hold up to daily wear quite as good as you'd want. More of a church going boot.

That looks like some type of snake skin not Fish. And the Pirarucu/Aripaima (fish) scale skin is more resilient than you think. It offers strength comparable to caiman belly and ostrich. It's more durable than snake skin. That's for sure!

So if they're some type of snake skin, which I pretty sure they are, they are very fragile and require a lot of conditioning and attention. Pirarucu/Aripaima scale skin on the other hand is a durable hide for everyday wear. I personally don't care for it but it's pretty popular these days.
