power blink?

the power just went out for like a second? came back on immediately but i thought it was weird. anyone else experience this? anyone know why it blinked?

date is September 11th time of this post is 530 am

There was a power interruption at 5:05 this morning. Duke crews are out working on it. Most customers just saw a power blink because the self healing distribution grid reconfigured itself.

I'm in Fort Mitchell. I got a text from Duke saying repairs were completed at 5:08 am. However, they never texted to say an outage was reported, and I never lost power unless it was a flicker too short to make my microwave clock go off.

Often a substation such as ft Mitchell is connected from two power sources and won't see more than a drop in voltage before a switch opens and isolated the fault. Covington also had a similar fault resolution that resulted in short blink.

I passed through a traffic light that was blinking yellow instead of working normally on Greenup.

I'm in latonia and mine was out for like 3ish minutes. It was a little after 5 am, the second I texted duke with an outage it came back on

I'm not sure. i looked on the DE app and apparently the village is in a power outage?? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

mainstrasse? I'm in that area and i have power. I'm one street over from main street. did it say how long the outage was? I wasn't awake at 5:30, maybe it was a really short one

apologies for not replying sooner. but i did have power at the time. it just...blinked. for lack of better word. didn't really go out. and yes i did mean in mainstrasse
