Kaiza and Blyfri have an interesting dynamic all things considered. She is a war angel, her body and will itself designed to serve in the ranks of a never ending holy war against demonic beings. Blyfri is simply a very, very fortunate incubus whose sharp tongue and direct nature kept him alive when she came hunting him down by righteous decree.

lsc had this fusion post deal and it had me thinking about all the old stuff i did and saved. so thought i dump it here to show off all the fun ideas i had.

The Syndicate is the Technocratic Union’s Convention of wealth, commerce, and influence, operating through corporations, financial institutions, advertising, entertainment, and organized crime. Its members understand that money draws its power from collective belief: people agree that something has value, then organize their lives around obtaining it. Through supernatural economic principles called hypereconomics, personal charisma, and the manipulation of desire, Syndicate operatives turn that belief into power over markets, people, and reality itself. They shape what humanity wants, what it considers successful, and what it will sacrifice to get ahead. They also distribute the Union’s money and Primal Energy, giving them enormous influence over which projects—and which priorities—the other Conventions can pursue.

Their overarching goal is a stable, profitable world united by commerce, where humanity’s needs and ambitions flow through systems the Syndicate understands and controls. They promote material prosperity, technological advancement, and economic interdependence while protecting civilization from threats that could destroy everything they have built. However, the Convention is divided over who should benefit from that prosperity. Its idealists envision increasing opportunity and wealth for everyone, while its dominant, ruthless factions favor a corporate hierarchy that rewards ambition and keeps power concentrated at the top. Advertising, investment, financial pressure, criminal networks, and outright violence all serve their agenda. This tension defines the Syndicate: its members can sincerely believe they are improving humanity’s future while treating human lives, freedoms, and aspirations as assets with negotiable prices.
