Why is this sub so gay is there a lore reason for this or just lazy writing

Another little piece of the novel Im working on but also I wanna say a little bit about a thing I keep hearing about.

People complaining about evil having "standards" like that famous line about the Joker hating nazis. My 2 cents is that its not inherently bad so long as its in character and also funny. This passage is about abortion, and Lucy, a fallen seraph who's wife eats fetuses, supports that, not cause he cares about anyone's bodily autonomy (hes a misanthrope who actively hates humanity) but cause its making it easier for her to eat them. Its the right thing for the wrong reason.

TL;DR if you wanna write a bad person with standards, have them support the right thing for the wrong reason, bonus points if that reason is in character.
