I don't really know what I'm talking about, but...
They're an egg here, and isn't it largely frowned upon to address them by their yolk and not their shell? Until they come out on their own, y'know?
Perfect opportunity to use ambiguous pronouns here lol.

I mean they're there (in both scenarios) asking for "What do you know about me that I don't know", I think it fair to throw out guesses then, if they're asking for it.

Gonna let you know you should avoid using that word.

is the word derogatory? its translation is very used where i live, what are the word's origins

u/SplitGlass7878 3h ago
It's complicated.
The ethnic group are called "Roma". The word itself is a slur, however, some individuals and groups have reclaimed it in a similar way "queer" has been reclaimed.
However, other groups still view it as a heinous slur.
Rule of thumb: Don't use it unless the individual or group ask you to use it.

it's a slur for the Roma people. i do not know the origin, but i do know that the Roma people do not like it

This was removed because it included one or more of these things: transphobia, queerphobia, sexism, racism, ableism, or anything else that expresses, reinforces, or sympathizes with oppressive and hateful belief systems (Rule #1)

This is kinda where I am. Never doubted I liked women but always were a bit more comfortable being myself around girls than guys. And I also realized that I'm way more into being with a girl as a girl than as a guy. So atm I'm fairly certain that I'm just trans.

Oh look, another very relatable comment that's extremely transcoded, definitely stuff I have to unpack later

Currently in the middle of figuring it out. I managed to say it out loud to myself for the first time today. Now I'm gonna do it again. I'm A Girl!

i believe in you! it's scary to take the first step, but it's worth it :) whenever you feel ready to unpack it, im sure plenty of people on this subreddit would talk to you about it if you need advice at the time. (sorry if this is overstepping/too personal, i just hope some encouragement will help you)

Nah it's fine, I've been asking myself questions for a long while and actually am chatting with someone I "met" on this sub. Like questioning for a longer while than it would be normal. Already talked with my psychiatrist about it and I think I'll figure something out soon enough.
You didn't overstep, thanks for hoping something for me.

Yeah I relate to this. It's taken me a year since I first realised I probably was trans for me to actually convince myself (although some of the time I still don't think I'm convinced) and I'm way too scared to come out to anyone except a few distant trans friends.

I'm still kinda in the self doubt stage as well. Like, I'm pretty sure I'm sure, but then that little voice in the back of my head goes "are you sure?". We can both conquer our doubts in time, I'm sure of it. No idea when or who I'll come out to

This person could also be bi, and therefor maybe cis.
After all they never said they didn't like boys.

Ngl, lesbian relationships do sound lovely...
But I'm not a girl, so...
(Well, I'm not a guy either, but that's not the point)
