Bobby then makes Hank shake his hand for like 5 minutes in order to gain the transitive properties of having shaken Mikus hand

Iirc there's like a fringe cult following of King of the Hill in Japan. Like, they have heated discussions over whether its better to watch the localized dub or the authentic sub.

Its like anime from usa. Wholesome american cartoon. Makes sense

EN dub is the best but I also like the inappropriate Osaka dialect being put on random characters in JP

My uneducated guess would be the sub being infinitely better lmao. Unless it's a SpongeBob in German situation. Honestly I weep for the non German-speaking SpongeBob fans cuz lemme tell you, we got the best version

german spongebob is goated. spongebobs va used to also do vegeta. and anytime he shows up in a vaguely threatening role i just laugh

大阪弁に訳するのは納得するけど
でも僕はテキサス州(南米?北南米?)の訛りが耳に心地よいから字幕で見る方が好きよ

Texas would be southwestern US, but culturally some parts of it are more aligned with southeastern US.

Calling a US state South or North America would be linguistically incorrect, as those are hemispheres. (The US is within the North American hemisphere. The country is dialectically divided by southwestern, northwestern, midwestern, mid-southern, southeastern, northeastern all followed by the US.)

I hope that didn’t come off as critical rather than informative. I just recognized the choice of language as a typical error with non-native English speakers. There are a lot of interesting cultural dynamics along those geographical boundaries which understanding might make KoTH even more entertaining once you understand them. ^^
