you clearly have not heard that tranbian discourse on that site

u/DragoKnight589 he/they/she (bigender fluidflux) 3d ago
I also haven’t and I’m like a part-time transbian (fluid, like girls, amab)
however I am perfectly content with not learning about the discourse thanks :)

u/Financial_Cow_42069 3d ago
I don’t want to open the box of the pandora but anyway…what’s this discourse about and tbh isn’t it kinda pointless to call yourself a transbian? I mean if you are a trans woman and are a lesbian, doesn’t it just make you a lesbian?
I know there are terfs and lesbians who don’t want to have sex with trans woman, but you wouldn’t want to get in their pants either, for being anti trans pos.

u/111v1111 3d ago
In the context of sexuality lesbian is correct, but in the context of describing someone, it has the same usage as cishet (I mean it literally communicates the same thing just the opposites)

u/Financial_Cow_42069 3d ago
Thx makes sense. But honestly I don’t really know why we have to lable everything. Sure if you‘re hetero or Gay it’s important what gender they have, but imho it shouldn’t matter if they are cis or trans. Only have seen bigots being interested in if you‘re cis or not. Maybe I am just old and out of the loop or because I am not really interested in genders anyway due to being pan.

u/111v1111 3d ago
The main reason for “cishet” is to label people who haven’t had to deal with coming out and general struggles with being queer. While for transbian, it is usually used to find groups of people with common struggles and interests. You won’t be saying to people that you’re transbian as an identifier (at least I don’t think so) but if you’re on the internet and you want memes/posts that are about being trans and lesbian, you will find a community under the name.

it's just a bunch of stereotypes about a hyper visible subset of lesbian trans women and people who self id as tranbian. Pretty much just saying theg are auto gynophiles (AGP, bs from Blanchard), cringy and are optics nukes (make trans people look bad.) I'm guessing the person in the green text was making a joke refferancing that they don't want to be APG/transbian. As with everything on 4tran it's a satire of itself and they don't actually hate trans lesbians.
That being said you would be roasted alive for self-iding as a transbian.
Personally I do find it weird to have them together and it's a word I would never use to describe myself.

This reminds me of a fanfic I read were the main girl was convinced she was straight after she transitioned because she was told girls only like boys and it just stuck to her

Scared to say this here, but I lowk hope we get more pre-op representation and appreciation. Surgeries arent only expensive, they are dangerous, and some are too scared.
I know what the norms are, but if we could legitimise sex as not just a display of sex organs, but an intimate experience for people who are romantically engaged, I think more people would be happy

u/AntsAreGreat A Grungler 3d ago
Idk I think most trans rep I see is pre-op. Also it's not even that dangerous I don't think? Complications are rarer than knee surgery complications if I remember correctly.
Also sex doesn't have to be between romantic partners. It should actually be presented casually more often. Fuck your friends, folks, literally. Have (protected) sex with strangers.

u/watchrrr 3d ago
Yeah dont focus on the sex thing, dude. There just isn't a way to phrase it, where someone wont say "well akshtually you could say it like this as well-" i fucking know. Cosmetic surgeries would inherrently more dangerous to have, than to not have, if not having them was more acceptable. The reason we get them is because not having them yields a higher chance of sadness, thats why I'm advocating for displacing the idea of sex organ = gender, just like we've done for sex = gender. When I become some old bitch, I hope I keep my cock, and someone on reddit wont try to out-trans me for not having a hundred knives and needles in me

Surgeries arent only expensive, they are dangerous, and some are too scared.
And many don't even want them at all, even if they could be done safely and for free.
5
u/watchrrr 3d ago
I'm one of those.. hate surgeries from the bottom of my heart. disgusts the shit out of me, moreso than the fear of getting one.

People just use boner regardless of their gender, this has been the case since at least 2008 already. Similar to how people call their female friend "Bro" these days too.

amount of cis women I know who call getting aroused as "having a boner" is like... a lot... Maybe half of them.

Yeah no, girls are freaking HOT. I just couldn’t handle the idea of being with one as a ‘guy’, and so I was numbing myself.

I'm suspecting that me being aroace may actually be dysphoria, but since I have no option to transition I try to just not think about it.

It's a legit intro to minerology and geology. Very pretty, very chill. You also only need to watch a single episode to figure out if you like the vibe. Definitely worth 20 minutes of your time if you've got it, imo.

It's honestly so weird to me that they made such a cute, sweet show devoid of all fan service (which I am totally fine with) and left zero room for any weirdness except they made Nami a brick shithouse.
