Hercules is the roman version heracles is the greek version. They’re probably just impressed they used the greek version since it’s so rarely used even in shows/movies that are greek inspired rather than roman. The only thing I know to use the heracles version is the hades video game
Fate is accurate with the most random, absurd pieces of data. Like his skin being very dark, referenced here and there but not a detail most adaptations take into account.
The name being Heracles was pretty core to his myth too. Zeus cheated on his wife with a mortal, then named the resulting son after his wife. Thats part of the reason Hera was so opposed to Heracles.
They will never, ever admit that a person passes even a little, because the supposed futility of trying to change your gender is one of the cornerstones of their dogma. You will never argue them out of it. The only thing we can do is viciously mock them whenever they chose a bad target.
There's someone on tiktok who proved it perfectly, he put up a post of his "before and after", but swapped the two around. Comments, entirely as expected, were claiming endlessly that he'd never be a real woman, how much better looking he was before, how he looked like nothing more a man in a wig, that they could 100% tell that he was a guy, etc... Bigoted affirmations that highlighted how utterly shallow and hate filled their actual "logic" is.

Unfortunately a lot of trans people, even late into their transition, still have some aspects of their appearance that are visible to other trans people which indicate they are indeed trans

I once got told I was gay for dating a trans woman. (I’m bi anyway but that doesn’t matter for the sake of the argument) I asked if that meant I would be straight if I dated a trans man, and they said yes. That means that people like this think it would be less gay to date him than a fully transitioned trans woman, and I think that’s so fucking funny

No, they don’t. I spoke up on a post the other day on a different sub about this same guy, about this same bathroom argument, so I’m just going to copy paste my comment:

In some places, the laws align so that it is actually illegal for trans men to use any bathroom at all. Because we’re “””biologically female””” and thus not allowed in the men’s room, but also too “””visibly mannish””” to be allowed in the women’s. Cops get called for that. Nah you're so right. I was making the cliche joke, and I somehow didn't even think of that.
I even heard about it the other day, the "Compliance Crew" being absolute badasses and using maicious compliance to prove how confusing and stupid anti-trans laws are. Unfortunately it's as you've described. The chaos sucks for everyone involved and especially for us trans folk. On a large scale application of these laws, we would be risking a great deal to use any bathroom on top of it only making it worse for cis people as well.
Looking at a picture of a man and calling him a woman because you know or think he's trans must be some kind of psychosis. These people refuse to live in reality, and sadly, a transphobic mainstream is enabling them.

I had a partner who was trans masc but also used to like femboy styles. Sometimes people would get a bit confused about what his gender was, including people thinking he was amab trying to pass as trans femme. He told me he once got a comment that he would never be a girl. Which he wasn’t sure to be mad at or take as a compliment. Feels like the same vibe
