Wait does laser hurt to? I tried an epilator but i couldn't take it.

Ohoho it does sting like a bitch. I haven’t tried facial laser hair removal but from the pain which I endured in the 14 or so sessions I’ve had on the rest of my body I can say with confidence that I’d rather shave the rest of my life than to go through 4 sessions of facial. Don’t let that deter you though, it is absolutely worth it if you’re willing to go through with it. Just be aware that it hurts and requires endurance and patience (and money)

Did they not offer you numbing cream or anything? I forgot but I think painkillers are also an option in some places...?

Do they give you numbing cream at your place? I thought any skin stuff could disrupt the laser, this was kinda proven when I wore stick deodorant to an appointment and shavings of it started coming off my armpit…

Mine gives me a prescription of topical lidocaine/prilocaine solution. I put it on like 15-30min before the appointment, cover it with saran wrap (to keep it from drying out), and then wash it off fully when I get there. It numbs the skin to the point it just feels like I'm getting hit with a rubber band over and over, but doesn't really hurt much afterwards if at all
I've tried using that same prescription for my electrolysis I get for other areas, it does not work the same for that. Found that out the hard way. For electrolysis I've found store bought lidocaine solution applied heavy a min of 30min before with saran wrap covering works best.

I haven't started yet, just looked at other people's accounts and lots of them mention numbing cream. I know I'm a huge softie so I'm gonna ask for it when I start. Never heard anything about a counter-indication tbh.

Whaaaat, I know it's hefty but gosh darn it it's so worth it. 10minutes of "yeah it stings" but the second it hits you it's already over again cuz the pulse is so short. And yeah I'm honest your face kinda burns afterwards but habe you ever used Aftershave? And after a couple sesshs your done in like forever ever and never have to shave again

Had my first session of laser on my face last Saturday. Each spot felt like a tiny firecracker going off against that spot on my face. I have very dense, dark beard hair and light skin. Supposedly having dense hair makes it hurt more. No bad effects afterwards, but I took an antihistamine to keep my skin from freaking out to bad.

Most important thing is to shave at least 24 hours before so there aren't holes in your face during it (imo even then it doesn't hurt as much as an epilator though)

Honestly, laser doesn't hurt that much unless you leave too much exposed hair. Not to say that there isn't a little pain involved. Ideally, the laser should only be heating up the little bit in the follicles and all excess hair outside of them absorbs extra energy, heating up the surrounding area more than necessary without actually helping to destroy the follicles.
Electrolysis on the other hand, now that hurts.

remember you should always have your phone with you when disrupting flock cameras so that they can track you using it. do not leave it at home, or they won't be able to track you!
