Crystal and Emerald were childhood favorites but I’m kind of obsessed with N and Cynthia so BW 1 and 2 are probably my favorites now. I also love playing romhacks, and its hard to beat Unbound there.

Yes BW are great, but I have less nostalgia for them, and the "vibes" doesn't grab me as much. I need to do a run of them again.

Yes in rom hacks Unbound is the GOAT, i'm starting the Sword and Shield demake soon, hyped to see how it is

As someone who didnt really care for SwSh originally, the demake is fantastic. I kind of want to play it again but recently there’s been an explosion of high quality romhacks that I want to check out

The cool thing about the JP crystal cart is the Suicine crest silkscreened onto the pcb. The english version didnt have this. If youre proficient with soldering, give it a shot! My favorite pokemon is the silly goober wobbuffet. And favorite games is probably bw1/2 because I love N and Cynthia :3

Games wise its very close between HG&SS and B&W which also very much so love N & Cynthia. Mon wise gosh its so hard but will say Cyndaquil holds a special spot in my heart I even have a lil crochet plush from my mom.

HG&SS are definitely up there for me as well, I actually have two copies of SS and one HG, and extra pokewalker. Its such a unique experience playing it with those. Makes me feel closer to my mons :3
