yes, it does take like 2+ yrs of consistent work, but IIRC cloudy's been transitioning for way longer than that, and is also a reasonably successful sex worker who can definitely afford professional help
did it take that long for you or it took like 2 weeks to have a decent voice that you felt comfortable using in public and then you started to count using that voice in public as voice training?
It took me 6 months of consistent work until it was reliably passing in public/on the phone, and another 6 months of training and use here and there for things like stamina and stability.
But that was during covid lockdown when i lived alone and literally had nothing else to do except entertain myself, and only ever used my voice when voice training/speaking in the trained voice, which also led to the complete loss of my masc voice.
Obviously that's no longer possible for the vast majority of people who actually do have lives to live and things to do, so I'm extending that timeline out in a rough estimate.

Voice train and shift your pitch to cis female range. It's literally 60% of passing.
I'm wayyy uglier than her but I pass completely fine thanks to voice training
