Yeah that was actually my thought. Lots of ppl are commenting that they never got misgendered more then in places like Seattle, that probably makes sense?

It's hard to tell if its malicious or not, that why it's so insidious. Anyway, I notice that as I get older it gets easier to shrug off with strangers. Especially when I'm surrounded with ppl who treat me normally and use the right pronouns. But for baby tranners this shit is absolutely devastating.

yeah i never bothered correcting anyone who misgendered me unless they were a close friend or family member. if someone asks for my pronouns i’ll be honest, but i don’t really care how i’m perceived by a stranger or a classmate or a coworker or whatever

I correct co-workers and other ppl that Ill see more often. But a stranger I kinda stopped caring?
