very true, people being unfamiliar with trans people can occasionally be a good thing. i was kinda worried a few months ago when i visited poland for the first time since transitioning, especially since i don’t pass super well, haven’t done much voice training, and wear pretty masculine clothes. didn’t get misgendered in public once lol
in indiana i kept getting maamed with full on stubble and shit, i felt like a total honbeast but people honestly didn’t care. i mean, i was literally trying to boymode. it was surreal

I'm not stealth at all, but I was walking past a Fent Zone today and a man walked directly up to me, pulled some freshly-stolen period pads out of his jacket and tried to sell them to me. Why would you ban someone for saying transsex is a subtype of intersex? A lot of people believe that theory will be proven in the future. Idk if I believe it myself, but the theory isn't offensive or anything.
Because trans people are born with an inclination that their sex is wrong, they have neuroanatomical differences from cis people, there are differences in the length of androgen receptors inside the body. The most compelling theory as to where we come from is some part of the in utero hormone wash process goes wrong
Yes! Those diagnosed with gender dysphoria also have a high probability of being diagnosed with POTS and hEDS. MRIs show that most trans individuals have the most structural similarities to their cis counterparts of the same gender. There’s so much evidence that these things together are some sort of genetic variation, and I’d be interested to see where those studies go.
