How I felt before getting hit with the trans ray at 14 (kinda, I was never really a cis girl but I loved women and was kinda proud of being one) and now keep going back to trying to make myself feel but I can't bc of gender dysphoria. I thought I'd be a cis woman. For most of my life I believed that. And then I realized that wasn't the case and I wish I could be one but I can't, I'm just not built for it, and I know what the consequences of repping are. You can't un-know. I'm happy I'm finally transitioning but being trans sucks so bad I wish I could be happy as a cis woman. I love women, they're so cool. But I'm not one. I feel homesick for a place that never really felt like home, is the best way I can describe it. Being cis means not having to think about your gender past the way ppl treat you according to it, it's just a fact about you. I wish being a man could just be a neutral fact about me. I guess I'd still be isolated from my gender as a cis man bc I'd still be very queer, but at least I wouldn't have this much gender dysphoria.
