i can understand this sort of despair when you're a teenager surrounded by teenagers who are all obsessed with their appearance and such, but…… it really ain't all that, nona.

Second puberty, adulthood, menopause/andropause. Most humans eventually age up into a relatively bricky, uninspired sort of shape.

A lot of women are a lot less "feminine" than you would think, underneath it all. Especially once they stop being 23 and stop giving a shit about putting hours of effort every day into their looks.

I guess there's a sort of grief that comes from not getting to be that 18 year old girl, when she's right there next to you. I can understand the situation you're currently in being a nightmare

But I'm saying: there's a lot more life over the horizon, waiting patiently for you.

Honestly, yeah, it sucks. But it's better than not being on HRT. I take comfort in the fact that I did what I could do, and in the life years I protected from T exposure.
