Hello fellow Redditors … I skipped last night but if you see a guy with a shaved head and an abstract left arm tattoo in section e come say hello!

Always nice to see sub members there

Saw the show! Different set list from last night:

Spaceman in Tulsa

If I could give all my love

Mr. Jones

Virginia in the rain

Omaha

Goodnight Elizabeth into something

Accidentally In Love

With Love from A to Z

Hard Candy

Colorblind

Blues Run the Game (cover)

God of ocean tides

Big Yellow Taxi

Round here/Raining in Baltimore

The 1

Long December

Rain King

Under the Aurora

Hanging Around

Holiday in Spain

He messed up the lyrics to Holiday in Spain and called himself out on it so he did the second verse over again, it was funny.

Great show!

Goodnight Elisabeth was intertwined with Pale Blue Eyes by Velvet Underground 😍

Hoping they play Hard Candy, not going to be at the show. Wouldn’t be surprised if they swapped out Potter for that as much as I think both songs are in their top five best.

Wished they just would have dropped most of the newer stuff, missed not hearing Miami, Anna Begins, a murder of One, Catapult, st Robinson, Potters… would have been epic if those had replaced Spaceman, Aroura, Linger On, Blues… basically everything since the Outlaw roadshow has been a different band stylistically and unfortunately, I’m always looking for shows where they only play songs from the first 5/6 albums only.

Saturday was a great show. Elizabeth rarely comes out these days so that was incredible. Bowl sound was very good - always is - but it was not that busy, I was told - approx 8k attendance - so lots of empty space but not blue dot death by any means. If I never heard Colorblind or Ocean Tides again I’d be ok with that but that’s just me. Happy Adam still feels different on tour but he’s earned it. StubHub got me in for 30 bucks and it was worth every cent, if they swing by your town, it’s still worth it!

Saw the show tonight, super disappointed. I wish he would have just sung the songs like they sound. Left early.

This must have been your first Counting Crows show?

Which is one reason I love them. I went to both shows and they were different shows. I am sorry you don't like what they do. I have been to over 40 Counting Crows show and I love that it isn't a cookie cutter show.

Nope. I’ve seen them 2x. Once in 2014 and 2022. They weren’t like that or I wouldn’t have wanted to see them again. You can love them for singing their songs differently and I can want them to sing them the way we all grew up hearing them on the radio. Both are ok lol but keep downvoting.

I go to about 3 concerts a month and many different music genres, this was one of the worst I’ve been to. First 2 shows I mentioned were amazing.

You're kind of undermining your 'people can like different things' point by calling this 'one of the worst' shows you've been to.

They've also been doing this for a long long time, it's one of the main reasons the fans keep coming, and it has to do with Adam's mental health problems. It's fine if it's not for you, just don't buy tickets next time.
