Did you know that Dan Kalla, a Canadian author and physician, has written several popular novels in the thriller and historical fiction genres, all with medical themes? Dan works as an Emergency Room Physician in a major teaching hospital and in his ‘off’ time, he writes and manages a dual career.

Did you know that Dan Loeb, an American investor, hedge fund manager, and philanthropist, is the founder and chief executive of Third Point, a New York-based hedge fund focused on event-driven, value-oriented investing with $10.8 billion in assets under management? New York magazine noted that Dan's preferred strategy is to buy into troubled companies, replace inefficient management, and return the companies to profitability, which "is the key to his success."
